Strong Upgrade – BUY BUY BUY!  These are big time moneymakers and should be pursued at all costs!
Upgrade – With current market conditions, these are good buys, but don’t go overboard quiet yet.
Downgrade – Recent changes to the market make these commodities less than desirable, buy with caution.
Strong Downgrade – Uhhhg!  Changes have made this commodity a horrible buy!  Avoid at all costs!

Strong Upgrades

Frozen Orbs – with the new Mr. Frozo practically giving cheap high-level trade mats, if you can get your hands on cheap frozen orbs, buy as many as you can get!  Good luck finding these cheap, however, as more and more people are becoming aware of this upcoming change and are grabbing an Frozen Orb they can find, (including the dreaded “NEEDY” pugger).

Upgrades

Primordial Saronite – prices have been trending downwards the past few weeks, but with cheaper trades mats due to the Mr. Frozo debacle, many people will now have access to the mats necessary to craft some of the more high-end gear pieces.  With that advent, cautiously buy P. Saronite for resale once stocks begin running low again.

Anything Related to new BOE Engineer Pets – (EDIT: OOPS!  Maybe I should actually mention which pets I’m referring to: Pet Bombling and Lil’ Smokey, ty to Pitrelli for the nudge) – engineers now have the ability to make these new pets for the friends and neighbors, so while the pet prices will definitely be extremely high to begin with, (and if you are an engineer, by all means farm the mats up and cash in), as a pure AH speculation, buy any mats that are associated with these pets, including Gold Bars, Copper Bars, Essence of Fire, Core of Earth, Mithril Bars and Truesilver Bars, and Iron Bars.

Titanium Ore – with the BS Titansteel transmute cooldown being removed, our BS friends are going to be snapping up all those cheap Eternals and converting like crazy, which means demand for Titanium Bars are going to go up, which means by association Saronite Bars and Ores are going to go up in demand for the alchemist transmute, (now ALSO not on cooldown).  So pretty much the ONLY thing that ISN’T going to be turned into Titansteel is going to be Titanium Ore, so keep an eye out for it cheap and sell for a decent profit

Downgrades

High Level Crafting Mats – again, because of the Frozo situation!  This includes all Eternals.  Also, stay away from Crusader Orbs and Runed orbs… but to a lesser degree because of their higher purchase/turn-in value, (6 and 4 respectively)

Titansteel – every BS and their grandma is going to be pulling all those cheap eternals and transmuting Titansteel, so prices are gonna fall, even with the increase in demand increase with cheaper crafting mats.

Strong Downgrades

Frost Lotus – with Frozo basically giving these away now AND the significant increase in the global droprate, expect to see prices of Frost Lotus to drop more than 50% over the next few weeks, (already down 30% on Ysera-US).  Also, stay away from buying/reselling flasks as their prices will also drop.
